Tomorrow is the fall equinox, and I have fall colors and flowers on the brain. I love all of the rich hues of fall flowers and the wide variety of flowers available this time of year.
This past weekend I played around with some carnations, spray roses, mums, safari sunset, limonium, stock, lilies, roses, salvia, raspberry leaves, and nandina…..
I think these arrangements are a little reminiscent of the still life paintings of flowers from seventeenth century Dutch artists.
I particularly love the texture that the raspberry leaves add to these arrangements.
