In September I had a lovely bride with grey and jewel-tone wedding flowers. We incorporated purple, darker pink, and blue along with ferns and grey dusty miller foliage in the bouquets and arrangements. Everything from the bride’s shoes to the couple’s invitations showcased this lovely color scheme. Planning and coordination was done by Tassia Davis of Beautiful Bride Events. All photos shown were taken by Dana Cubbage.
While the ceremony and reception were at the Creek Club at I’On, the bridal party had some lovely photos taken in downtown Charleston.
Sometime I worry that when I’m working with blue flowers (like the delphinium shown in the bouquets) that they will recede into the background. To off-set this, I used some brighter green foliage along with the light grey dusty miller. This combination of brighter green and light grey made all of the flowers “pop” a bit more.
I used a standard roses called “Blueberry” in all of the arrangements. I just love the rich color of the Blueberry rose!
This was a fun and different fall color palette that I enjoyed exploring with this wedding!
